When officials from the American La Mans Series Race (ALMS) picked Denver to host the Grand Prix, it put safety at the forefront.  The safety of the fans, drivers and the million dollar machines could not be compromised.  All of this started from the bottom up, literally.

The racing surface would need to meet unprecedented performance standards.  Even the slightest imperfections could send a car traveling over 200 miles per hour into enthusiastic racing fans.  Officials wasted no time contacting Brannan. The challenge wasn’t turning a bumpy, undulating, poorly maintained parking lot into a Formula One race course; it was doing in the period of one month, during the Stanley Cup Playoffs and other nightly events. 

Thirty five days from receiving the authorization to begin operations, Brannan delivered a race course on time and on budget and has been retained to make all improvements as the series continues. 

When the Hahn Company decided to develop Park Meadows Shopping Center, they knew it would be no small undertaking.  Developers would not only have to deal with logistical issues but would also need to rely on the expertise of their pavement contractor to overcome issues of volatile soils, pressing construction schedules and ongoing inclement weather.

This responsibility fell squarely on the shoulders of the Brannan Companies. Developers knew they couldn’t take a risk so they turned to Brannan’s experience, manpower and resources to accomplish this goal.
